Forney's Trusted Recycling Partner
From old electronics to bulky appliances, Wise Choice Recycling gives your unwanted items a responsible second life — right here in Kaufman County.
What We Accept
We handle the items most landfills don't want — so you can dispose of them with confidence.
Computers, monitors, printers, keyboards, cables, and small appliances. We responsibly extract valuable materials and safely handle hazardous components.
Refrigerators, freezers, washers, dryers, dishwashers, and microwaves. We recover refrigerants and metals to prevent environmental harm.
Ferrous and non-ferrous metals, copper wiring, aluminum, and scrap from home projects. Every pound counts toward a cleaner environment.
Office paper, corrugated cardboard, and mixed paper products. We keep them out of landfills and back into the manufacturing cycle.
Moving, renovating, or decluttering? We accept a wide range of household items and sort them for reuse, recycling, or responsible disposal.
Bring items to our Forney facility or call ahead to arrange a pickup. We make the process simple and straightforward for homeowners.
Our Story
Wise Choice Recycling started with a question that any homeowner in Forney has asked: where does this actually go? The answer, too often, is a landfill — and that's a choice we knew could be better.
We built this business on the conviction that every material has value if it's handled with care. Electronics contain rare earth metals. Appliances hold recoverable refrigerants. Cardboard becomes new packaging. It all comes down to making the wiser choice — the one that keeps resources in circulation and out of our community's soil and water.
Today, we serve homeowners, contractors, and small businesses throughout Kaufman County. We're not a conveyor-belt operation; we're your neighbors, and we take our responsibility to this community seriously.
We don't cut corners on environmental compliance. Every item is processed according to the highest standards.
We live and work right here in Forney. Your sustainability goals are our sustainability goals.
No hidden fees, no surprise charges. Tell us what you have, and we'll tell you exactly what to expect.

Our Impact
The choices we make about disposal ripple outward — into our water, our air, and our community's future.
Every ton of material we recycle is a ton that never enters a landfill — reducing soil contamination and greenhouse gas emissions from decomposition.
Metals, plastics, glass, and paper recovered through recycling replace the need for virgin resource extraction — conserving energy and natural deposits.
Responsible recycling keeps hazardous materials — from battery acids to refrigerator refrigerants — out of our groundwater and our children's air.
— Wise Choice Recycling, Forney TX"The best recycling program isn't the one that sounds the most ambitious — it's the one that actually works, right where you live. That's the standard we hold ourselves to."
